HIST 4303 Public Health in the Americas

This course increases students understanding of health and society within the Americas. The course examines the social, cultural, and institutional history of the construction of disease, medical practice, public health, and policy in the Americas in a comparative framework with the United States. As an advanced history class, students will gain and practice skills in writing, reading, and critical thinking.
