MECE 4327 Intermediate Materials Engineering

The course explores advanced topics in materials science and engineering materials. Coverage includes polymers, ceramics, and composites/nanocomposites with emphasis on the relationships between the structure, processing, properties, and performance of these materials. The remainder of the course will cover dielectric, electrical, mechanical, and viscoelastic properties of materials and the newest nanoscale materials specifically the properties, synthesis, processing, and characterization of nanomaterials.
