MUSI 4102 Instrumental Conducting II
This course is designed to further develop skills fundamental to the art of instrumental conducting in a laboratory setting. Emphasis will be placed on (1) the application of the physical aspects involved in communication through gesture, (2) the understanding of broad concepts involving the role of teacher on the podium, and (3) development of aural skills that the conductor must acquire before conducting an ensemble.
