PHYS 4303 Quantum Mechanics I

This course provides an introduction to the basic ideas of quantum mechanics. Concepts to be covered include wave functions, operator-eigenvalue formalism, bound states of the potential well, the harmonics oscillators. Selected examples such as solutions of the hydrogen atom, angular momentum, and spin will be discussed.
