MECE 4304 Automatic Control Systems

Classical control methods for linear-time-invariant systems are investigated including PID, lead, lag, and lead-lag controllers. Time- and frequency-domain methods including transfer functions, stability analysis, time and frequency response, root locus and Bode plots are used to design and analyze automatic controllers for mechanical systems. The course also includes an introduction to modern control theory.
