MECE 4306 Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics

This course will focus on introducing a variety of computational techniques for solving model fluid flow equations as well as the Navier-Stokes equations, with special emphasis on finite difference and finite volume methods. Theoretical background will be covered with focus on accuracy and stability of numerical schemes, as well as their application in real fluid flow problems. Applications will cover incompressible flows in the viscous and inviscid regimes.
