This course enhances students' communication skills that are critical for careers as science and engineering professionals. It focuses on building both foundational and advanced communication techniques essential for roles like researchers, public relations professionals, program coordinators, science educators, outreach specialists, consultants, and others. With an emphasis on community engagement, the course prepares students to clearly convey complex science and engineering concepts to varied audiences, fostering greater participation in sustainable practices. Through hands-on writing and communication activities, students will learn to craft compelling messages tailored to both local and global contexts.
