MATH 6395 Topics in Pure Mathematics
This course offers an in-depth exploration of selected areas in pure mathematics at the master’s level. Topics vary by semester and may include but are not limited to advanced studies in algebra, analysis, topology, number theory, geometry, or related fields. Emphasis is placed on developing rigorous reasoning, abstract thinking, and a deep conceptual understanding of mathematical structures and proofs. Students engage with foundational theories as well as recent developments, strengthening their ability to read, present, and analyze mathematical research.
