Minor Requirements - 18 Hours
Complete 18 hours of which 9 must be advanced
Spanish Language Courses: 12 - 15 hours

Spanish for Second Language Learners - 15 hours
SPAN 2311 | Intermediate Spanish I for Non-Native Speakers | 3 |
SPAN 2312 | Intermediate Spanish II | 3 |
SPAN 2314 | Intermediate Grammar and Composition | 3 |
SPAN 3300 | Advanced Spanish Grammar & Composition I | 3 |

Spanish Advanced Electives: 3 - 6 hours
Choose 3 to 6 hours from SPAN 3000/4000 level (except SPAN 3300, SPAN 3301, and SPAN 3315) in order to complete the 18 hours needed for the major.
Students start the sequence at a level based on the proficiency exam. All students need 18 hours to satisfy the minor. If a student starts higher than SPAN 2311/SPAN 2313, extra hours will be needed in the Spanish electives category in order to complete the 18 hours.
