FREN 2353 Introduction to French Culture and Civilization

This course (taught in English) traces the history of Western thinking from the Romans to the present, by focusing on cultural icons in Paris, such as the Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and Versailles, among others and by exploring the philosophical, artistic, and historical content they contain and convey.
