INTM 9515 Nephrology-DHR
The student will work with a nephrologist in a solo or group practice and will participate in the evaluation of patients with a variety of renal diseases including hypertension, acute and chronic renal failure, acid-base disturbances, fluid and electrolyte disturbances, and glomerular disease.
Prerequisites: Completion of 3rd Year Medical School. Students who have completed their Internal Medicine Clerkship may take this course as their four week elective with permission from the Course Director.
