INTM 9519 Gastroenterology-DHR
The student will work with a gastroenterologist in solo or group practice. The student will participate in the evaluation of patients with gastrointestinal diseases, liver disease, and diseases of the pancreas. The student will have full-time participation (Monday-Friday) in clinics, consultations, and special gastrointestinal diagnostic techniques.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of the MS1 – MS3 years of Medical School. Exception: Students who have completed their Internal Medicine clerkships can take the course as an elective in their third year with the permission of the Course Director.
