OTDE 8307 Health Promotion, Prevention & Interprofessional Practice

Apply, analyze, and evaluate the role of occupation in the promotion of health and prevention of disease, illness, & dysfunction for persons, groups, and populations.  The course will provide experience in building a team of health professionals from different professions to address health promotion and prevention. The focus is on learning to work effectively with an interprofessional health care team.  Emphasis is placed on effective teamwork, the unique contributions of different professions, clients, or family-centered approach in health care delivery.
