OTDE 8309 OT Skills in Pediatrics

This course will prepare students to apply hands-on skills needed for entry-level OT practice with children and their families.  Emphasis will be on the ability to select and deliver occupations and activities, preparatory methods and tasks, education and training, and advocacy that support the occupation of the child within an environmental and socio-cultural context.  The use of assistive technology and adaptive seating will also be included. This course must be passed with a grade of "B" or better to proceed.

Taken concurrently with OTDE 8402 and OTDE 8106.
