OTDE 8308 Population, Community & Culture

Students will examine the influence of culture across the domains of occupational therapy and investigate the role culture takes in shaping populations and communities. This course provides students with the opportunity to utilize critical thinking skills necessary to understand various culturally relevant occupations for populations in community-based practice settings.  The application of the OT process will be integrated through intervention planning, implementations, and outcomes in relation to community-based practice and occupation-based models for populations.
