Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification Program - Online Program

Overview

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) credential is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. In addition, BCBAs supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions.

The Department of Human Development and School Services offers a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). The VCS consists of seven courses that fulfill the coursework requirement to obtain BCBA certification. A student does not need a master’s degree to participate in the VCS; however, a student does need a master’s degree to obtain certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

This program is 100% online.
