Advanced Business Administration Certificate - Accelerated Online

Overview

The Certificate in Advanced Business Administration is awarded to professionals that complete a series of courses about the fundamentals of business concepts, theories and practices. Students who earn the certificate will be prepared to apply the learned concepts to real business administration situations in a variety of industries. Individuals that do not hold a business undergraduate degree will find the certificate program to be great preparation for the MBA program.

This program is accelerated and is 100% online. A traditional online version of the program is also available. Students are not allowed to alternate enrollment in accelerated and traditional online program courses.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the certificate program in advanced business administration, prospective candidates must first meet all requirements for graduate admission to UT Rio Grande Valley.

  1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a recognized international equivalent in a similar or related field.
  2. Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 60 semester credit hours.
  3. Resume
