BMEE 6316 Physiology for Biomedical Engineers

This course covers topics in general physiological principles and mechanisms with an emphasis on systemic physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, pharmacology, and oncology. Students gain an understanding of the normal functions of physiological systems in the human body, including the normal physiology of individual organ systems with a stress on the role each plays in the human homeostatic balance.
