COMD 6302 Clinical Practicum II: Speech Pathology

Supervised clinical practice in speech and/or language pathology. Students must be available for a minimum of 12 hours each week during clinical operations to accrue required clinical practicum hours and complete all required clinical duties and responsibilities. Graduate students can expect to progress in their clinical knowledge and skills and will learn how to implement clinical strategies with greater levels of independence than COMD 6301.

Prerequisite

A grade of ‘B’ or better in all first-year fall courses (COMD 6301, COMD 6310, COMD 6325, COMD 6355, COMD 6360) and a grade of ‘B’ or better in COMD 6180.Students who did not complete COMD 6180 as part of the first-year fall courses must take COMD 6180 during the spring semester. Students who earned less than a ‘B’ in COMD 6180 as part of the first-year fall courses are not permitted to retake COMD 6180 concurrently with COMD 6302.
