COMD 6385 Dysphagia

The seminar includes contemporary research in normal and disordered processes of eating and swallowing, anatomy and physiology of the mechanisms, and evaluation and treatment procedures from infancy to the geriatric.

Prerequisite

A grade of ‘B’ or better in all first-year fall courses (COMD 6301, COMD 6310, COMD 6325, COMD 6355, COMD 6360) and a grade of ‘B’ or better in COMD 6180. Students who did not complete COMD 6180 as part of the first-year fall courses must take COMD 6180 during the spring semester. Students who earned less than a ‘B’ in COMD 6180 as part of the first-year fall courses are not permitted to retake COMD 6180 concurrently with COMD 6385.”
