ASLI 3330 Ethical Standards and Practices

This course introduces students to how interpreters approach their work and to the challenges mediating American Sign Language (ASL) and English. The interpreting process models, history, and professionalism of interpreting will be addressed. Emphasis will be placed on the roles, responsibilities, and ethics of interpreting in a variety of settings.
