COMD 4360 Language Disorders in Children

The course is a study of the characteristics of language development in children at risk. A sampling of three to five special populations will be presented. Audiology and speech-language pathology students will be introduced to basic techniques for the clinical management of children with language disorders.

For students in the Speech-Pathology Concentration: Grade of "C" or better in COMD 2310, COMD 3310, COMD 3315, COMD 3320, COMD 3330, COMD 3340, COMD 3355, and COMD 3360. For students in the Audiology Concentration: Grade of “C” or better in COMD 2310, COMD 3310, COMD 3320, COMD 3340, COMD 3360, AUDI 3305, AUDI 3325, and AUDI 3345.
