COMD 4375 Special Topics
Communication and Healthcare is an interdisciplinary course designed to explore the critical intersection of communication practices and healthcare systems on a global scale. This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how cultural, social, and political factors influence healthcare delivery and patient outcomes abroad. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, students will examine the diverse ways in which communication strategies are employed to address health disparities, promote public health, and enhance patient-provider relationships across different cultural contexts.
