ECED 4394 Principles of Curriculum Design in Early Childhood

This course combines a theoretical and experiential investigation of curriculum for children from birth through 8 years, with primary emphasis on prekindergarten through elementary grades. Curriculum planning and implementation; overview of research and theory related to teaching and learning of specific content areas with an emphasis on integrated approaches to early childhood curriculum will be addressed. Field experiences may be required.
