MUSI 3101 Choral Conducting I

This course is designed to develop skills fundamental to the art of choral conducting in a laboratory setting. Emphasis will be placed on (1) the application of the physical aspects involved in communication through gesture, (2) the understanding of broad concepts involving the role of teacher on the podium, and (3) development of aural skills that the conductor must acquire before conducting an ensemble.
