NUTR 4310 Nutritional Education and Counseling

This course reviews the utilization of counseling, learning and teaching theories meant for individuals, as well as groups of people, in clinical or community settings. Topics include communication, interviewing, cultural competence, stages of change, goal-setting, counseling for behavior modification and cognitive change through the life span, learning evaluation, oral presentation delivery, use of instructional media, and group learning.
