PHIL 3304 19th Century Philosophy

This course will address major trends and figures in the development of philosophy in the Nineteenth century. Topics likely to be discussed are German Idealism, Romanticism, Dialectical Materialism, Existentialism, and Pragmatism as manifest in the thought of Kant, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Marx, Peirce, and James.
