EECE 6334 Deep Machine Learning
This course provides an introduction to the field of deep machine learning, focusing on deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformer, which have revolutionized the field of computer vision, image processing, and natural language learning. This comprehensive course aims to provide a thorough understanding of CNNs and transformers, their architectures, and applications. Students will learn how to design, train, and optimize deep models to solve complex image recognition and classification tasks as well as natural language processing tasks. Throughout the course, practical hands-on exercises and real-world projects will be used to reinforce theoretical concepts and enhance the participants' understanding of CNNs and transformers.
