SOCI 6303 Qualitative Methods

This course focuses on qualitative methods and their uses for sociological research. Students will receive training to collect, analyze, and interpret data for research conducted with qualitative methods—including interviews, focus groups, ethnography, archival study, case study, and content analysis. Students will also gain an in-depth understanding of the theory of qualitative research.
