COMM 1311 Fundamentals of Human Communication

Human communication is the process of making sense of our experiences and sharing that understanding with others through both verbal and nonverbal messages. This course introduces the foundational principles that influence every dimension of how we communicate. Together, we will explore a variety of skills, concepts, ideas, and communication contexts. Our study is structured around five core principles that offer a clear framework for understanding the significance, complexity, and pervasiveness of human communication.
