CYBI 4318 Cyber Security
This course explores cybersecurity fundamentals, standards of good practice, and basic theory in depth. Topics will include privacy, confidentiality, integrity, and encryption. Key areas include network attacks and defenses, operating systems flaws, malware, social engineering and digital rights management.
Prerequisite
Students from any major except BS Cybersecurity are permitted to take the course. Students must have earned a [Grade of "C" or better in
CYBI 2322,
CYBI 2324 and
CYBI 2326] or a [Grade of "C" or better in
CSCI 4345].
