INFS 3335 Database Management

This course is an introduction to the foundations of database technology. Basic knowledge of data structures, normalization of data, and data modeling will be included. Relational, hierarchical, and network models will be covered. The student will be introduced to the rudiments of the construction of database schema via laboratory experiences stressing application development through advanced programming techniques and SQL.

Sophomore Standing. All students pursuing a major from VCoBE must apply for and be admitted to the college before they are allowed to enroll in Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
