PAFF 6332 Environmental Policy

This course explores the development of public policy to deal with environmental issues. The course provides a multi-level, multi-stakeholder view of environmental policymaking concentrating on the development stages of the environmental era, the different phases of environmental thought, environmental federalism, and media-based environmental regulation in the U.S and globally, among others. The student will be exposed to issues related to environmental movements, environmental justice and sustainability, Food-Energy-Water policy transitions and trends, as well as current climate change-related global environmental policy trends.
