CIVE 6326 Advanced Asphalt Pavement Materials
This graduate course will focus on advanced asphalt pavement materials and construction topics such as Asphalt Binders; Aggregates for Asphalt Mixtures; Asphalt Mixtures Batching, Volumetric & Design; Asphalt Plant Production; Quality Assurance; Using RAP in Mixtures; Warm Mix Additives; Field Engineering; and Balanced Mix Design. In addition to covering national standards and procedures, the course will focus on local agencies' approaches such as the State Departments of Transportation.
