CIVE 6352 Advanced Geotechnical Engineering

This course provides study of concepts, theories, and design procedures for modern earthwork engineering including: compaction and desensification of soils and soil improvement, seepage and drainage, slope stability and performance, consolidation and earth retaining structures. This course also examines site characterization and geotechnical aspects of the design and construction of foundation systems.
