REHS 7320 Introduction to Bilingual Counseling

In this course, students will augment their professional Spanish conversational skills students through an introduction to Spanish therapeutic concepts, interventions, and terminology used in the mental health field and develop essential Spanish language skills needed to function as Bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health professionals. Introductory bilingual counseling principles of and approaches to bilingual counseling are discussed throughout the course. The course is taught in English and in Spanish.
