REHS 7360 Counseling App. & Experience in Bilingual Settings

In this course, students will practice and apply basic and culturally competent counseling skills in Spanish. This course will require students to spend total of 150 hours (75 hours of those being direct service provision) during the semester at a bilingual clinical setting, providing counseling and/or assessment services to bilingual and/or Spanish-speaking clients. Students will have the opportunity to develop bilingual multicultural counseling competencies. The course is taught in English and in Spanish. Students must obtain a B/3.0 or better in this course.
