GSST 4315 Special Topics

This course focuses on the new issues that appear in the field of global security studies and aims to provide students with a deeper contextual understanding of those current topics. Bearing in mind that students may require additional courses to complete a concentration, or other circumstances that warrant a full course on a specific topic, flexibility requires the program to offer timely courses that are related to topics as they emerge in the field or as needed. These types of courses often cannot be accommodated in the regular curriculum in a timely manner. On these occasions, courses will be offered under this title. The special topics course may also be used to phase-in new courses to further develop the concentrations. This course may be repeated for credit when the topic changes.
