BIET 6318 Methods of Inquiry in Bioethics

This course examines qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical research in bioethics. Students will learn how to select and define a research problem, conduct a literature review, and prepare a research plan with a well-defined sample and assessment instruments. Students will explore a variety of methods utilized in bioethics including philosophical, legal, historical, qualitative, and quantitative research methods.
