KINE 3378 Planning and Use of Facilities

This class will cover numerous issues associated with facility use and management. Topics will include a variety of issues from construction-related concerns, marketing facilities, naming rights, concession practices and basic facility operations including water needs, heating, cooling, and ventilation, and safety. This is a comprehensive course focused on applied rather than theoretical knowledge designed to educate the learner about the hands-on elements of running a sport/exercise facility.
