INHS 3305 Global Health Dynamics

This course explores the political, economic, and cultural processes of globalization and their impact on population health and healthcare systems globally. Students will examine factors that either promote or hinder health equity within an ethical framework grounded in healthcare initiatives, human rights, and social justice. Key topics include pressing global health issues such as HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, infectious diseases, reproductive health, and the social determinants of health. Emphasis is placed on developing practical skills in healthcare interventions and cultural competence to address global health challenges.
