COMM 6328 Applied Communication Research

This graduate course focuses on using research to solve communication problems in professional and community contexts and to prepare students for either a professional project or a thesis. Students learn how to turn practical questions into researchable problems; select appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies and mixed-method designs; and collect and analyze data using tools such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, content analysis, and basic analytics.
