PHIL 3304 19th Century Philosophy

This course will address major trends and figures in the development of philosophy in the Nineteenth century. Topics likely to be discussed include: German Idealism, Romanticism, Materialism, Existentialism, and Pragmatism as manifest in the thought of Kant, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Marx, Darwin, Peirce, and James.
