PHIL 3330 Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art

This course will address classic issues in aesthetic experience and philosophy of art, such as beauty, nature, art, art-criticism. These issues will be illustrated from different forms of artistic expression, e.g., fine arts, public arts, performance art, literature, drama, music, plastic arts (painting, sculpture), architecture, film, digital culture. Variations will depend on expertise of the instructor.
