MEDI 8125 Renal
The Renal module provides a comprehensive overview of the renal system's structural and urologic components. Through various assignments, students will deepen their understanding of glomerular, tubular and interstitial functions, normal renal anatomy, and pathological changes due to injury, disease, or genetic abnormalities. The module employs active, collaborative learning activities, problem-based learning with clinical cases, on-line tutorials, and adaptive instruction. Assessment methods include formative and summative exams, oral presentations, and self-assessment.
