MATH 8391 Advanced Topics in Computational and Applied Mathematics
This course offers advanced topics in computational and applied mathematics. Subjects may include, but are not limited to Deep Learning, Information Theory, Fourier Analysis, Functional Analysis, Mathematical Methods in Applied Sciences, Stochastic Processes, Fluid Mechanics, Solitons, Integrable Models, and Numerical Methods for Differential Equations. Topics are selected based on contemporary concerns or align with areas of faculty research expertise. The topics will vary each semester, and each section of the course will focus on a different topic. May be repeated for credit when the topic varies.
