MATH 8392 Advanced Topics in Statistics, Data Science, and Machine Learning
This course explores advanced topics in probability, statistics, and machine learning. Subjects may include, but are not limited to, Mathematical Statistics, Biostatistics, Deep Learning, and Survival Analysis. Topics are selected based on contemporary concerns or align with areas of faculty research expertise. The topics will vary each semester, and each section of the course will focus on a different topic. May be repeated for credit when the topic varies.
