MATH 8394 Advanced Topics in Foundations of Mathematics with Applications

This course covers advanced topics in Foundations of Mathematics. Subjects may include, but are not limited to, Abstract Algebra, Number Theory, Information Theory, Complex Analysis, Functional Analysis, Differential Geometry, Cryptology & Codes, Discrete Mathematics, Combinatorics, and related applications. Topics are selected based on contemporary concerns or align with areas of faculty research expertise. The topics will vary each semester, and each section of the course will focus on a different topic.  May be repeated for credit when the topic varies.
