INFS 3308 Business Information Infrastructure

This course introduces students to the basic concepts of computing and information technology infrastructure components in the context of the contemporary business environment. Topics include computer architecture, traditional packaged and open-source software, operating systems, cloud computing, virtualization, web services and multimedia, and business impacts and strategies for these technologies.

Prerequisite

Sophomore Standing. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they can enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree. Prerequisites are waived for the students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security or a minor in Cyber Security.
