INFS 3336 Systems Analysis

This course examines the analysis of business information systems and their redesign through automated applications. Students will learn the nature of information needs and the role of information systems in organizations. Using a variety of information systems development approaches and problem-solving tools, student will initiate, plan and analyze a real-life project within an organization. Team projects will result in a system proposal.

Prerequisite

Advanced standing; INFS 3308 and INFS 3310 with a "C" or better. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
